Flight #106
13 January 2024 • Andy Jackson Training Hill • Hang I - Beginner
Flew my own Falcon 195 off the 75' training hill at Andy Jackson and did great in 2mph wind. I had 2 launches and landings. Made it to the grass on both flights. These were both really excellent flights. I had great launches, nice and straight. I held wings level. I had my angle correct. I had my arms in the correct position and height. I did my walk/jog/run. The glider slid up through my hand smoothly. Once the glider lifted, I ran really hard and kept running until I was in the air. Then I eased out a little to trim. I milked the flight at around trim to best glide. I kept my eyes focused on a cone target in the landing field. I came down really light and easy on my feet, with a little touch-and-go. Probably my best two, most lightfooted landings at Andy Jackson so far. I now have around 26 flights from the 75' Andy Jackson training hill. That makes about 251+ foot launch flights.
