My 45th day of flying at Dockweiler. Had around 10 flights. That puts me at about 401+ flights at the beach. That makes about 428+ foot launch flights in total. Extremely high wind day. The highest wind speed was about 14mph. Sometimes it was 12 or 13mph. All of my flights were pretty good. Solid launches. Solid landings. Nice and smooth. I struggled a little on launch on crosswinds, but it wasn't too bad. I did flip the glider once, walking it up the hill, just because it was so windy. I learned a good lesson to keep the nose down and hold the nosewires high near the nose and don't allow the glider to slide up and fly too high. That keeps it more manageable.
