My second solo. Glorious, surreal and serene. I got the courage to fly hands-off in the perfectly smooth air. It was stunning. Exactly like a dream of flying. At that moment, I knew it was worth absolutely every single dollar I had spent and every penny was worth it. I came in rather low over the trees as I was about to land, but I knew I could clear them if I remained on a nice, trim glidepath.
