Flight #45
1 November 1998 • Webberville, MI • Hang I - Beginner
Cold, grey and overcast. I arrived late, knowing I'd have driven 6 hours for 2 or 3 flights. It was really freezing but dressed warmly it wasn't too bad. Actually it was comfortable. Winds were strong but really steady below 1000 feet. Over 1000 feet it was smooth as glass. I tossed the glider around a bit, banking it and doing some whip-stalls and stuff. Fun! I landed WAY too far from the launch area and had a 300 foot walk. Uuugh!
