Flight #61
26 May 2000 • Webberville, MI • Hang II - Novice
First flight of 2000. Bad sink today but I found some nice lift while I was in it. I released at about 3000 feet and found lift which was about 100 to 120 up and made it up to 3800 or so. I hung out at that altitude and couldn't gain much more. I had a really great time though. It was so cool to begin the season with such a sweet flight. The sink was nasty though. Once I was out of my 100/up thermal, I was headed down fast.
