Flight #68
27 April 2023 • Andy Jackson Airpark • Hang 0 - Student
This was my first day back to footlaunches on the training hill. Rather than write a log for each, I will put them all together. I only did about 5 runs with the glider. The first was basic ground handling. The second was a brief flight of a few seconds. The wind stopped and the third was just a long run. Dan then took me further up the 40' hill and I had one awkward run where I couldn't stop. I had another where I drifted into the brush. We cut things short since I was in a Falcon 195 with no wind and it was incredibly hard to fly. Even Dan had to run about 80 feet to get it airborne.
