My fifteenth day of flying at Dockweiler and my ninth flights on the rental Falcon 2 195. Excellent day. Still had around 10 flights. That puts me at about 150+ flights at the beach. The day began with an offshore wind and it looked like we couldn't fly. Eventually the winds shifted, but they were very strange today. First they were offshore. Then they cam from the south, but despite an intense crosswind from the windsock, I launched very smoothly. Later in the day, the wind stopped completely - the windsocks went limp. I have NEVER seen that happen. The winds remained steady after that, but VERY slow - maybe 4MPH to 6MPH at the most. Made launching extremely difficult. I actually had one launch where I just ran all the way down the hill and never got off the ground.
