My twentieth day of flying at Dockweiler and my fourteenth flights on the rental Falcon 2 195. Excellent day. Still had around 10 flights. That puts me at about 200+ flights at the beach. Highest wind I've ever seen at the beach. Was about 10mph to 13mph most of the day. I had a few launches where I actually soared above launch by a few feet. I even had one flight where I got about 40' above the ground and actually gained altitude over the beach. It was pretty amazing. I almost made it to the second berm out near the shoreline. I actually did turtle the glider while walking it uphill, just because it was so windy. But, I've seen instructors do that, so I didn't feel too bad. I righted the glider by myself pretty easily.
